WHY YOU SHOULD USE ANIMATION IN TV ADVERTS
The use of animation in advertising and movies is growing. Companies are recognizing the importance and advantages of animation as opposed to “live” commercials. Animation movies are increasingly being produced and even the “live” movies are incorporating animation. Characters and scenes are increasingly being computer generated (CG) and animated in the production of movies that has seen the quality of the scenes shoot up. Clearly they recognize the advantages animation and CG in general have.
Here are some reasons to use animation in TV commercials as opposed to “live” cast actors.
1. Animated characters are always reliable. Unlike live actors or models that you may have problems with, among others; getting schedules right, falling sick, have tight diaries especially if they are in demand, or have any other sort of emergency when scheduled for a shoot.

2. Actors and models can be very expensive to hire especially if they are in high demand. And you can imagine if you want to use a whole host of them. Whether you pay cartoons or not they will still get the job done exactly how you want them to, even if it means getting blown up to pieces.
By the way what mode of payment do you pay a cartoon with?

3. Many actors have issues with their image and personal brand. You may have a concept that does not appeal to the particular models image or brand and this will definitely cause a problem. This may mean you losing either your concept or the actor. Cartoons are very flexible and will allow you to define their image for them. That means they can fit into any concept you come up with.

4. How many times have you heard of celebrities being in demand by companies and agencies to do there adverts only for the celebrity to be involved in one type of scandal or another and their popularity plummets? Well actors and models are only human and human is to error. But not cartoons. Cartoons can go for ages end ages without being caught pants down. And when they are caught pants down, it’s all part of the show.

5. While live commercial actors age while going through the vagaries of life cartoons are immune to this unless of course you want them to do so which they can do in an instance and be back to their original selves just as fast. In fact cartoons get better with age. Just compare Batman, Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk to name just a few of the 1960s and today. Need I say more?

6. Anything is possible in animation. With animation, you can do practically anything the mind can conceive. You can have the character get smashed by ten tone boulders and still come back for the next scene; you can make the moon drop onto your house or get someone to carry it for you. You can go to the furthest reaches of the universe.
In fact in real live commercials you are limited by the set, actors models, the environment and many other factors, but animation will not limit you in fact your imagination is the one that will limit the animation.

7. Animation is so flexible that animation is not limited to animation, but animation can also be used in combination with live actors or scenes to create some really interesting effects. So if you are shooting a commercial and have one or more stubborn actors you can always replace them with an animated character who will obey your every command without a second thought.

8. And the best thing of all is that animated adverts are cheaper to produce than live      adverts. This is so especially if you deal with animation studios directly instead of going     through third parties.
